Hi everyone,
Today's review is about my HG moisturiser, read on for full review.
What the company claims: (anti imperfection cream for acne prone skin). Complete care with reinforced anti-imperfection efficacy, to help correct the appearance of imperfections, even skin texture and unclog blocked pores, with Procerad, anti marks active ingredient. Procerad helps protect against the appearance of red and brown marks.
After 24 hrs: imperfections looks visibly less red. After 8 days: localised imperfections reduced significantly. After 4 weeks: pores look unclogged and skin texture looks refined. controls excess sebum and shine.
Texture: fresh gel cream, 24 hr hydration and lasting mattifying effect, non sticky, non oily finish. Excellent make up base. Non-comedogenic.
Use: apply to whole face morning and/or evening after cleansing skin.
PROS:
1. Paraben free
2. Non-Comedogenic
3. has the goodness of thermal spring water
4. doesn't give me breakouts
5. adds a dewy glow to the skin
6. Skin appears soft.
Cons:
1. Might be expensive for some
2. Doesn't have an SPF
3. Doesn't do much for imperfections.
Overall verdict:
LA ROCHE POSAY provides really an effective moisturiser for those who have acne prone skin.
Will I recommend it?
Yes. If you have the same problem. This is so far the best moisturiser I have found for acne prone oily skin.
Will I buy it again?
Sure.
I am thinking of buying Effaclar K (+) next.

My experience:
I have combination skin which is prone to acnes. Not every moisturiser would suit me. So I have to be really careful while selecting one. I also have slightly uneven skin, with a tanned forehead and chin. So I was suggested this moisturiser when I visited Vichy counter. I apply it in the morning time after cleansing and toning my skin. It effortlessly glides on my skin and imparts it a dewy finish. I have been using it for a year, and till date, it has never given me breakouts even once. However, the sebum control claim is not completely true. My t-zone starts getting oily in 3-4 hrs. Besides, since my skin is normal to dry on cheeks, I have to apply a good moisturiser in the night time to sufficiently moisturise my cheeks area. But in the day time, LA ROCHE is my savior.
I am very happy with this moisturiser. Nonetheless, when it comes to imperfections, I would say that it has done almost nothing to improve my uneven skin tone or blacks spots.
