Hey guys,
I have taken a long break. So here I am with another review.
My Hair type: thin hair, normal to dry scalp and hair.
Hair problems: Yes, hairfall
Rundown: VICHY Redensifying shampoo is especially for thin hair, makes the hair look slightly bouncy, and controls hair fall to an extent. However, this shampoo, if used alone - without a conditioner, can dry the hair too much and increase hair fall.

Ingredients:
Company Claims: A crystalline formula with an ultra-light texture. Enrished with styling agents to coat even thin hair without weighing it down. Its light and easy to rinse foam makes hair soft, shiny and easy to style. Targets 5 parameters for denser looking hair: Density, strength, body, volume and style.
My experience: When the SA in Health & Glow store suggested me this shampoo, I was quick to buy it. I had previously used Vichy's Normaderm night cream, and was satisfied with it. So I decided to try this shampoo. It has creamy consistency and is transparent in color. I usually oil my hair in the night or an hour before the shampoo. When for the first time I used this shampoo, I probably took more amount than was required, which left me with dry and frizzy hair. It continued and my hair fall didn't stop, so I discontinued using this shampoo. Later, my hair stylist taught me how to use a shampoo. She told me this "keep a small bottle, add not more than coin sized amount in it, add some water in it and then shake the bottle; then wet the hair with lukewarm drinking water, and pour the diluted shampoo on your hair, rinse it gently, not harshly." and she asked me to shampoo twice if I oil my hair. So I started following this method to wash my hair with Vichy. It worked. However, it would still dry my hair too much. So, I followed it with Wella's moisturising treatment for dry and damaged hair. Now, I have got the silky texture of my hair back and my hair fall is only 1 percent.
I can't say that the shampoo is a hero here for me, since it is not good enough on its own. But it is a decent shampoo that does its job nicely. I like that it cleans my hair well.
PROS:
1. Parabens free
2. SLS free
3. Cleanses hair well, removes all impurities and oil.
CONS:
1. Can dry your hair further if you already have dry hair.
2. It's a pricey pick if you are on budget.
Overall Verdict:
Even though this shampoo is for thin hair, either the instructions on how to use are lacking or the shampoo.
Will I recommend it?
I don't think this shampoo is THE ONE at least for me. Besides, Shampoo is a tricky business, you really need to see which suits your hair. However, if you have thin but and not very dry hair, you can buy it.
I liked the feel of Loreal Professional's absolute repair shampoo that my hair stylist used on me last time. It made my hair so soft and silky smooth that I loved touching my hair again and again. I am going to buy it next!
