Well, thanks to Nykaa, numerous revered brands from the US, South Korea, the UK etc., are now easily available in our Indian market, but still, there are many people who hesitate to order from Nykaa due to some past bad experiences.
I love shopping from Nykaa, but when it comes to buying products of foreign brands, I trust my Insta-resellers way more than I trust Nykaa. The reasons are simple:
- I get the latest offers currently going on in the respective country.
- The resellers sometimes send freebies.
- The products are recently manufactured, so expiry date is way ahead in the future.
- The range of products is wider.
Sometimes, I order the products directly from the websites such as colorpop, cultbeauty, hudabeauty. I also ask our relatives or friends to bring me some products whenever they are travelling from the US to India.
But mostly, I love ordering from these resellers for the most hassle-free experience. There are some advantages of not buying products directly from websites, but ordering through the Insta-resellers.
- If the product is damaged during transit, Insta-reseller bears the responsibility and you only get the brand new, best condition product.
- If you order on your own, each website has a minimum order amount that you need to reach to avoid shipping charges, which are hefty, especially when combined with custom charges. You actually end up paying double the amount of the product.
- Sometimes, the parcel may be lost during transaction or get stuck in customs for too long. But ordering through Insta-resellers saves us from all that headache.
- There are many websites which don't even ship products to India, Insta-resellers can help access products from those websites as well.
- You get the latest offers and benefits of sales like Cyber Monday and Black Friday sales.

Run by an entrepreneur in Delhi, The Make-up house offers wide variety of products from international brands, also including those from Dubai. I love this page for two reasons: 1. They keep a stock of almost all best-selling products, especially the ones loved by make up artists. 2. They have huge variety of products from mid-range to high-end brands.
Their USP is introducing new affordable brands to the customers.
The Make-up House also has a physical outlet in Delhi.
3. Royalicious1
We talk about buying international products and don't mention Royalicious? Now that's impossible. Run by a very talented Nikita Malhotra, who has also launched her own brand MILAGRO BEAUTY (Read our product review about Milagro Beauty Rose Gold oil HERE), Royalicious again brings a mammoth variety of international brands under one umbrella and provides a great customer experience. Nikita doesn't only introduce you to the world of both affordable and luxury skin care as well as make up brands, but also shows how to use those products with her mini reviews and sometimes tutorials.
4. kbeautyindia
The obsession over K beauty products is not new to India. With K-beauty skin care becoming increasingly popular, many Korean brands are penetrating Indian market. So, if you are also a K beauty addict, be sure to check this page. Run by Keerthi, this page has a lot to offer in terms of affordable Korean beauty products. Although quite a lot of popular brands like The Face Shop, Innisfree, Klairs are already there on Nykaa, there are still a lot of K brands that you may want to explore. This page is a great start. Keerthi also runs sales on mini samples of products from US and UK.
5. makeupzone_india
Run by Shivangi, this page is another personal favorite. The reason is Shivangi's personal touch. She is gentle and kind with her customers; I almost feel like I have earned a friend. I remember her sweet gesture when I was buying a MAC limited edition lipstick for my mom. She was very thoughtful in sending a more exclusive packing as it was a gift, and it is just one of many times. In addition, her prices are quite competitive. I highly recommend her page for sourcing your favorite products.
6. sparkle_with_tanu
Run by Tanu, a very talented and humble being, this page was the first one I started shopping from on Instagram. It has been 3.5 years of wonderful association with her. I joined Instagram because I was looking to buy some international cosmetics. Back then, Nykaa did not have so many collaborations with International brands and Sephora was confined to some selective cities (it still is). So even today, I completely trust Tanu to get me my desired products. Tanu also provides offers as and when offers are launched by the brands and you can get the product at relatively less price.
7. beauty_studio_india
Run by Sana, this page hosts one of the most jaw dropping sales that are absolutely irresistible. Sana often hosts minis' sales, sample products' sales and stock clearing sales. You must keep an eye on those. These sales give a great opportunity to try expensive products before buying their full versions. Also, the prices are way less than Nykaa's. I recently bought Clinique Vit C glow boosting pack from her almost at half the price available on Nykaa.
Unfortunately, her last active post was on November 2020. Hope she comes back soon.
